Historic NJ Homes (HNJH) is a division of Legacy Roots, L.L.C., a company dedicated to legal, historical, architectural, genealogical, and biographical research and education.
HNJH offers consultation on a one time or ongoing basis for professionals. Research and documentation is also available for commercial and personal properties, local and national nomination, and discovery of ancestral properties. Reconstruction of properties is offered through onsite study, document research, surveys, maps, and photographs.
HNJH believes that the life of a building is discovered through interdisciplinary research. The discovery process begins with a consultation to learn and understand your intended goal. Following a preliminary discussion, a proposal is submitted for your review. The proposal includes a summary of initial cursory findings, suggested procedure, and recommendations for any additional pertinent specialists if required.
